Position Summary
Triad Complete Healthcare is seeking a licensed Physician Assistant to provide primary care services in collaboration with our physicians. In this role, you will manage patient care from initial assessment through treatment and follow up, assist supervising physicians in clinic, hospital, surgical, and on call settings as needed, and work within established protocols to deliver safe, high quality care to patients of all ages.
What You Will Do
Conduct health assessments, physical exams, and diagnostic testing to evaluate patient health status
Diagnose and treat illnesses within your scope of practice and develop individualized treatment plans
Order diagnostic procedures, including x-rays, and prescribe medications according to established protocols
Counsel patients and families on preventive care, treatment options, and disease management
Assist the supervising physician in surgery, clinic, in-patient rounding, and on call coverage as needed
Respond to urgent and emergent patient needs, including life sustaining interventions when required
Maintain timely, accurate documentation of patient histories, exams, and care plans
Collaborate closely with supervising physicians, nursing staff, and the broader care team to coordinate patient care
Refer patients to specialists or other services as appropriate
What You Bring
Active, unrestricted license through the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
National certification as a Physician Assistant
Current CPR certification, or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire
Current malpractice coverage as required by the Board of Trustees
Clinic or ambulatory care experience preferred
Physical Requirements
This role requires the ability to perform clinical duties, including frequent standing, bending, and lifting up to 60 lbs, along with the vision, hearing, and manual dexterity needed to safely assess and treat patients. Reasonable accommodations can be discussed with Human Resources.
